Allow admin to add Credit Card charges which show on Invoice, whereas Debit Cards have no Charges
Allow the admin to specify a Charge Value either as a percentage or absolute value to Credit or Debit cards as charged by payment providers.
Depending on the users payment method the Credit Card charges are shown as added to the Invoice near the tax charge.
So if a shopper pays e.g. using VISA and you have a surcharge configured for VISA cards our software should just add it to the totals of the invoice? Do we need to show new total with the surcharge to the shopper before he hits “Pay” finally? Taking in account we will know his credit card type after it is entered so it seems to be adding an extra step to checkout.

Banks and payment providers now charge a fixed amount or percentage to process Card payments.
As a web portal we should be able to pass these charges to the customer.
As an example Credit Card charges vary between 2 and 5 percent and Debit Card charges between 25 to 50pence per transaction.
The system will have to include some type of test to detect a Debit or Credit Card has been used.
